4/3/2017 National Park Fee-Free Dates

National Park Week is once again approaching folks, and to celebrate it we have some exciting news.  For both weekends before and after this special week the U.S National Parks will be fee-free! This means that if you’re visiting during the dates of April 15-16th or 22-23rd then you will NOT be required to pay an entrance fee.  Follow the attached linked to find a park that interests you so you can take a visit soon!

If these dates are too short notice for you to plan a visit, don’t panic. There are other dates available for you to take advantage of fee-free days!

Mark your calendar for these entrance fee–free dates in 2017:

  • January 16: Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • February 20: Presidents' Day
  • April 15-16 and 22-23: Weekends of National Park Week
  • August 25: National Park Service Birthday
  • September 30: National Public Lands Day
  • November 11-12: Veterans Day Weekend

Our National Park Service officially turned 100 years old this year, and what better way to celebrate than to visit a national park on a fee-free day! Pack up the family and the dog and hit the road on an awesome new adventure.  Be sure to get comfortable with any travel planning before you hit the road and stay hydrating during your outdoor visit!
